Description

TVDD PE1 is a hard but resilient extruded filmic boxtoe (toe puff) suitable for all footwear where a hard toe puff is required. TVDD PE1 sticks well to most oily leathers. TVDD HMO is not adhesive coated but can be used in conjunction with a latex adhesive for Goodyear welt construction.

Material composition

An extruded core of hard ionomer resin of which up to 40% is recycled, laminated on both sides with an apertured non-woven backer. TVDD HMO is not adhesive coated and will be 0.5mm less in thickness.TVDD PE1 is coated with a polyester hot melt adhesive on one side that adheres well to most oily leathers. As oils and oil content of leathers vary, we recommend that adhesion tests are made on your particular leather and that adhesion is re-tested after 2/3 weeks.
